-How we got started

In June 1984 Steve Buyers worked for Walker Construction and was doing a job at DFW airport. When he called the barricade company to come and service his job they would not come. After three days of no service he called them back a little upset and the lady told him she did not have to put up with him and hung up the phone. This resulted in Steve looking for another barricade company. He quickly realized that he had no other companies to choose from so he decided that they needed a little competition. Within 24 hours Steve started Buyers Barricades. He started with a 65 Chevrolet pickup and a 16ft trailer. Buyers Barricades has grown a lot in 25 years but one thing still remains the same, our service. Buyers Barricades prides itself on providing unexcelled service to all our customers.
